Santa Fe 50501 Rally
Santa Fe, New Mexico is the nation’s oldest capitol city, having been established in 1607, and made a seat of government in 1609-1610. It sits at the foot of the Sangre de Christo mountains, the southern tail of the Rocky Mountains, at a height of 7,000 feet. It has been a capitol for Spain, Mexico, and the United States. The area is rich in history and culture, as well as natural beauty.
Today, February 17, 2025, there was a Stop the Coup rally, specifically inline with the national 50501 protests (50 rallies, 50 states, 1 day). The MSM says that there were “hundreds” of attendees, but estimates from members of the crowd would seem to put it at over 1,000. The Raging Grannies performed folk songs and protesters from all over came with homemade signs and some even in costume. The event was peaceful, and although there were a lot of State Police, there were no incidents.
